From the ASM organisers: “The theme for 2025 is “Out of the Ordinary: Embracing the unfamiliar” and the organising committee are designing an inclusive program to explore the areas of Intensive Care medicine that are not routinely encountered in day-to-day practice. Focused on all stages of the intensive care medicine career from junior trainees to senior ICU specialists, the draft program will be announced in November 2024, with the final program in January 2025. Speakers will include leading specialists in intensive care, anaesthesia and emergency medicine, as well as international speakers and podcasters.”

Máté Rudas

Dr Rudas is the Director and Founder of ClaimLogic.

He is Senior Staff Specialist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. His clinical interests include critical care ultrasound, advanced haemodynamic monitoring and mechanical cardiorespiratory support. He is a member of the CICM Ultrasound Special Interest Group, an examiner for the ASUM DDU (Crit Care) and works as part of the NSW ECMO Retrieval Service.

Other interests include medical billing, clinical informatics and health facility design. Roles include Clinical IT lead at NBH and ICU clinical co-lead for the RPA ICU redevelopment project.
